We had three new gardeners join us today. Linda, Ryan and Trish and they got stuck in and finished clearing bed 3, they were fantastic.
We also had another upcycling experiment to find a way to plant tomatoes in poor soil that is cat proof. Our answer grow bags made out of ‘j-cloth’ type fabric topped with bits of broken tile, cement and glass which will also act as a mulch. Fingers crossed it works. We’ll find out next week.
Hello my name is Annie and along with my husband Dave we run Craftyannies Home. We hold Crafty workshops for all ages and abilities ranging from our Schools Out Craft Club, one to one sessions to our Craftyise sessions. We try to use re-cycled items as much as possible and show people how to use their imaginations and customise what they already have.
