Its taken a while but after a lot of experiments, some upcycling and using everyone’s skills we’ve managed to get a crop.
It wasn’t a lot, a few young leaves of rainbow chard, some baby rocket and a few white radishes but it doesn’t matter, the cat proofing worked and the hard work is starting to pay off.
We also tried another version of Craftyannies Watering System using 500ml plastic bottles, some sand and a needle to make a few holes.
We’ll see if it worked in the next couple of weeks. We’re off for a couple of weeks now but will be back on the 11th July.
